She has experience supporting the mental health and wellbeing of children, adolescents, and their families across both mainstream and specialist education settings and within private practice. Georgia is passionate about working with young people directly and also those around the young person such as families and educators.
Georgia is especially passionate about helping neurodivergent young people, including those with ADHD and autism, as well as those who have experienced trauma. She believes that every young person deserves to feel understood, valued, and have their strengths highlighted.
Georgia utilises a range of therapeutic modalities and techniques which are tailored to the unique needs of the young person. She draws on a range of evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Georgia enjoys bringing humour and playfulness into sessions and she works from a person-centred approach, striving to create a warm and collaborative space where young people can feel safe to be themselves, grow and thrive.
